Mr. Ronnie Tan is a seasoned entrepreneur and the Founder of Tenco Group of Companies, a position he has held since April 5, 1990. With over 40 years of experience in manufacturing, management, and marketing, he has been instrumental in transforming Tenco from a modest family business into a leading name in adhesive manufacturing.
Mr. Ronnie began his career in 1973 as an Executive Officer at Penging Tex Sdn Bhd, a major textile manufacturing company, where he gained valuable insights into various operational aspects of the industry.
Under his leadership, Tenco developed its flagship product, Durobond 820, and implemented a five-year growth plan to drive product development and market expansion. Mr. Ronnie's ability to anticipate market needs and adapt to industry demands has solidified Tenco’s reputation in the adhesive manufacturing sector.
In addition to his now Consultant role at Tenco, Mr. Ronnie serves on the boards of all the company’s acquired entities and several private limited firms. His forward-thinking approach and commitment to excellence continue to shape the company’s legacy in Malaysia’s manufacturing industry.
